Operation Christmas Child 2023

Thank you to all who participated! Only God knows the impact our shoe box gifts will make.

‘Tis the season once again, when Faith Baptist Church will participate in Operation Christmas Child, an outreach of Samaritan’s Purse.
For many years, the Faith family has filled shoe boxes with gifts and prayers to send across the world, spreading the Good News and true meaning of Christmas.

Empty, pre-folded shoe boxes are available at the church, ready to be filled with toys, school supplies, and other treats. The enclosed brochure walks you through the steps of filling a box, including recommended and prohibited items. You can also find this information online.

Participants are encouraged to include a personal note and/or photo for the child receiving the box. Don’t forget the $10 shipping and processing fee, which can also be paid online. Paying online also provides the option to track where your box ends up. Completed boxes are due back to church by November 5th, so they can be sent to a national distribution center.

Labels on the boxes should be marked to show the gender and age of the child the gifts are intended for. The greatest need is for boxes for older boys.

Questions specific to Faith’s shoe box drive can be directed to Amy Haines.

This year, will you choose to be the reason a child learns the true meaning of Christmas?
