David Callis (deacon)
I am from some of the old, original Mathews stock of watermen (commercial fishermen) and merchant mariners. I married my wife, Carla in 1991. We have a married daughter and a grandson and granddaughter.
I serve as a deacon and Adult Sunday School teacher and help to maintain the church grounds.
Hunting and target shooting, as well as reading and writing local stories are my more important hobbies.
I very much enjoy my dear friends at Faith Baptist Church and am a grateful member of Alcoholics Anonymous since 1990.
