Children’s Sunday School

The Lord is our Hope: This winter, students will dive into the biblical genres of gospel, prophecy, history, and letters. In the Gospel of Luke, we will learn about the birth of Jesus, the Messiah. The books of Ezekiel, 2 Kings, and Daniel will teach about Israel’s history and the Israelites’ exile into Babylon, and will examine God’s judgment of sin and the hope of restoration. The books of 1 & 2 Peter will remind us of the living hope we have in Jesus and that we are called to live holy lives amid suffering and persecution. Finally, the book of Hebrews highlights the superiority of Jesus and encourages us to live by faith in Him. As we study key passages in these books, we’ll be reminded that the Lord is our hope and that we are called to trust in Him.
