Backpacks for Appalachia

There are still packs waiting to be filled! Here is your chance to bless an impoverished child and show them the true meaning of Christmas. Entire families have come to Christ through the Christmas backpack drive, sponsored by the Southern Baptist Convention of Virginia.

Participants will pick up an empty backpack with a packing list, which includes everything from snacks and school supplies to Christian literature. You are encouraged to personalize the pack by adding a note or photo, and of course, please pray for the child who will be receiving the pack. This may be the only gift many of these children receive.
