The Fix Ministry

Helping people break free from the bonds of drug addiction

Throughout the month of May, we will be collecting funds to benefit The Fix Ministry in Richmond, Virginia. They are a gospel-focused, 100% independently funded organization which helps those ravaged by drug abuse and addiction. Their mission is “Reach, Teach, and Send”–sharing the hope of Christ with the hopeless, teaching them to build a new life in Christ free of addiction, and sending them back out into the community to help others.

The Fix Ministry receives no government funding, so they are able to remain 100% focused on the Gospel. Bible study is the cornerstone of their residential programs, where men and women spend 12-18 months learning to see their lives and choices through a Biblical filter. The Fix Ministry also partners with many local businesses to provide vocational training, empowering participants to become self-sufficient. One of their businesses is a thrift store run by program participants. Finally, the Fix Ministry believes in community outreach, visiting schools and local events to promote substance abuse prevention.

Will you be a part of someone’s journey to a new, drug-free life in Christ? Please pray about giving to this worthy cause.
